The best for your skin type

Find the signature scent for your skin type
Your aftershave shouldn’t just be the one the good looking shop assistant in Duty Free duped you into buying. It should be the one that suits your skin type.
Oil crisis
Greasy skin cannot react with aftershave to retch-inducing effect. To avoid eau de changing room, adopt the “less is more” principle. After thorough washing, opt for subtle, lighter fragrances that are less likely to clash with your natural odour. Woody or citrusy scents are best.
Dry patch
Aftershave dissipates faster from dry skin. However, because of the alcohol-base, simply applying more runs the risk of further drying out and damaging your already dry and sensitive skin. Go for a winter scent. These tend to be stronger, spicier fragrances that last longer in drier, colder conditions.
Sting in the tale
Applying aftershave needn’t be a Home Alone cheek-burner. Fragrances are full of all sorts of ingredients, some of which may irritate sensitive skin. So if you are prone to rashes or acne, or have a Macaulay Culkin baby face, dab fragrance on the inside of your wrists instead and perhaps spray some on your hair which is an effective scent diffuser.
